Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be used for multiple purposes. It can be converted from a single stroller to double strollers by adding the second seat (sold separately) or glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be set up to a triple travel system by adding an infant car seat. It comes with 24 options in total and is the highest-rated stroller. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It has a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to place your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, however we would have preferred an easier latch. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers a bit difficult to use since they must be completely undone and refastened every time you use it.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and a significant improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake levers that many of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or parents with a single child and a baby coming soon. It is compatible with the majority of major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good choice for families who already have a car seat and need an appropriate stroller, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat for infants in this case.
